NBLSA Founders & Competitors Reception in Irvine, California.

NBLSA was founded in 1968 to foster careers of civic engagement and excellence for black law students. Today, NBLSA's programming includes educational and professional development, college student pre-law pipeline initiatives, advocacy competitions, domestic and international community service, and raising awareness of civil justice issues. In doing so, we seek to partner with organizations that share our commitment and prize diversity. If your organization is interested in supporting a NBLSA initiative please contact us at chair@nblsa.org.

Volunteer with NBLSA

The Honorable Ann Claire Williams speaks at the 41st National Convention in Irvine, California.

NBLSA is very fortunate to receive the support of NBLSA alumni, friends, and other diversity leaders. Our success would not be possible without their commitment of energy, resources, and expertise. Volunteers serve as competition problem authors and judges, mentors, panelists, and National Board advisors. Both volunteers and members have had rewarding experiences as a result of these connections.

If you would like to volunteer, please contact us at vice-chair@nblsa.org.
