NBLSA Hill & Government Days OverviewObjective:The 2013 Hill and Government Days will allow members of the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA) to collaborate on legislative reform. Hill day encourages NBLSA members to actively participate in the democratic process. Students will be trained on effective lobbying methods, hear the perspectives of attorneys who have chosen careers in legislative advocacy, and most importantly, meet with legislators and staff to discuss necessary reforms. This year students will hear from Congressional and government officials as well as interact with members from the Administration. Date(s):The 2013 Hill & Government Days will take place February 5-6, 2013. Issue:Increasing awareness of Voter Reform legislation on Capitol Hill.
