October Movie Night/ "BLSA Doing Our Part to Help the Environment"

Chapters can choose the date they would like to implement this program. A suggested film is "An Inconvenient Truth." The movie is very informative and addresses issues within the community and the nation at large. The goal of this event is to raise awareness about environmental justice. Schools should invite everyone to attend and make it a fun and enjoyable movie night with an environmental twist.

The Midwest Director of Social Action should be contacted if there are questions and also reactions to the film and event for this event. Pictures are welcomed.

Lets get Connected: Webinar Event

This program will consist of hosting a webinar with a member of the Environmental Protection Agency. The webinar will be live and will involve raising awareness for environmental issues.
