Announcing National Convention AgendaFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (2/27/2010) Washington, D.C. - Join the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA) as it "Reclaims the Promise of the Black Lawyer" at its 42nd Annual National Convention in Boston, Massachusetts. The Convention will include five eventful days from March 10th through 14th. This year's Convention will include stalwarts such as the National Frederick Douglas Moot Court Competition, the National Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition, and the International Negotiations Competition. In keeping with its motto of Awareness. Advocacy. Activism., the 42nd Annual Convention will also include a Census 2010 Workshop, a "Project Haiti" workshop, and Boston-area community service. The 42nd Annual Convention will unite hundreds of law students, lawyers, judges, law professor, and other legal professionals from across the United States to engage in competitions, attend workshops, and network. The 42nd Convention will also mark the 35th Anniversary of the National Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition. The National Black Law Students Association, founded in 1968, is a national organization formed to articulate and promote the needs and goals of Black law students and effectuate change in the legal community.
