Greetings! It is with great honor and privilege that the Mid-Atlantic Black Law Students Association (MABLSA) presents our 45th Annual Convention in Pittsburgh, PA. This remarkable five-day event will be held at the William Penn Omni Hotel, located in the heart of downtown, from February 13 - 17, 2013. Be prepared for an amazing Convention, liberally filled with networking opportunities, workshops, and engaging speakers. Additionally, the regional rounds of the National Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial and Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competitions will take place during the Convention. The finalists from each Competition will advance to the National Competitions in Atlanta, GA. And of course, we would be remiss not to mention MABLSA's signature event--the moonlit boat cruise.
Our theme for this year can be succinctly stated as "Excellence in Action." Our goal is to utilize MABLSA's resources and our resources in Pittsburgh to foster the professional and academic development of minority law students. We expect you to hold our Convention to the standard of "Excellence" towards which we strive. And you won't be disappointed. Please join us in Pittsburgh!
