Welcome to the Western Region's 2013 Annual Convention Page!
In January, students from across the region will gather in Los Angeles, CA for the 2013 Annual Convention. This Year's Convention theme "Paving the Way: Like Those Before Us, and For Those Who Come After Us," illustrates our regions commitment to the academic and professional development of our members. By offering members support and quality programing, the Western Region cultivates attorneys who are devoted to their communities, attorneys that will attain countless successes, successes that will pave the way for those who come after them.
The Annual Convention provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with students from across the region. This five-day event will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown, from January 9 - 13, 2013. Programing includes a series of workshops, panel discussions, various receptions, a regional community service event, and the regional rounds of both the National Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition and the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition. The finalists from each competition will advance to the National Competition in Atlanta, GA.
