Prior to his election as National Chair, Brandon served as the President of the University of Baltimore School of Law's Black Law Students Association.
Brandon Cahee is a fourth-year evening law student at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Brandon currently serves as the 49th National Chair and Chief Executive Officer of the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA), the nation’s largest student-led non-profit organization entering into is 51st year. With over 6,000 members and chapters at nearly every law school, NBLSA was founded in 1968 to increase the number of culturally responsible Black and minority attorneys who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.
Brandon concurrently works at the National Education Association where he supports the Center for Social Justice’s Department of Community Advocacy and Partnership Engagement as a Senior Program Assistant and manages their grant processes. Brandon is committed to encouraging others to give back of their time through committed acts of service in the community, as well as being advocates of change by involving themselves in pressing issues which are shaping the national dialogue specifically around civil rights, and social justice.
Brandon has been recognized by the University of Baltimore School of Law and the University of Baltimore for his dedication of service to the community and leadership through the receiving of the Dean’s Citation. Most recently, Brandon was awarded the Living the Creed Award at the University of Baltimore which is bestowed to one individual at the graduate level for their commitment to uplifting the creed and mission of the University of Baltimore.
Brandon holds a BA in political science from Howard University in Washington, DC.

In this role, he exercises general executive authority over the business, activities, and initiatives of NBLSA, which includes all six Regions, as well as leads the NBLSA Board of Directors and National Executives.
Brandon's vision is to create a changed world
where people embrace every opportunity, notice their inherent value, and see all things as possible. Brandon believes this is done by fostering the attributes of optimism, assertiveness and authenticity.
As Brandon embarks upon his journey in life towards his aspirations of being a contributor in the field of law, he hopes to continue to embrace this vision and strive for excellence in truth and service.
