Application Now Available for the NBA's Summer Judicial Clerkship Program

On behalf of the National Bar Association, I invite you to participate in this year’s (Summer 2018) Summer Judicial Clerkship Program (SJCP). Since its inception in 2016, SJCP has placed hundreds of diverse law students with judges across the county. In its most recent summer, the SJCP placed over 50 law students in federal and state courtrooms. Our goal is to place over 100 law students this year. Students will be interviewed on a select selection. Placement will based on merit, preferred location, preferred practice area, and needs of participating judges. The clerkship program is a non-paid internship program. All students selected must commit to at least six (6) weeks in the program. To apply, please download and complete the form below. All materials, including letters of recommendation, must be received via email or mail on or before 5:00PM CST Friday, December 8, 2017. We are very excited about this year’s program. We look forward to training the next generation of lawyers. If you have any questions, please contact the National Bar Association at (202) 842-3900 or via email at communications@nationalbar.org.

Download the application here.

We hope you will join us this year. Sincerely, Dominique D. Calhoun Board Member at-Large
